More about who and what we fund
We will support campaigning organisations, those who act on behalf of communities without a voice or who support people to access the services they need, but which are not actively promoting the interests of any particular political party.
We have a preference for working with local community organisations with an income of up to £400,000 per year and reserves of between three to six months of annual running costs.
We are also interested in projects which disseminate their results, successes, and challenges to help inform other organisations and improve the work of the sector.
Your application should demonstrate your understanding beneficiaries, and your reputation within your local community.
We have a particular interest in organisations looking for seed funding for new ideas and to help scale up successful pilot projects.
We will consider applications from previous grant holders or applicants but advise you to call first to discuss the timing and project/need.
What we don’t fund:
Capital works/improvement processes.
Projects which cannot demonstrate their main beneficiaries will be young people within the age range of 11 to 18 years.
Organisations with a turnover of over £1m.
For profit organisations.
Projects or organisations without a focus on our geographical area of benefit (Greater London).
Schools or Colleges.
Faith groups that cannot demonstrate they are inclusive of all faiths and non-secular people within their beneficiaries and workforce (including volunteers).
